As with the concept for participation, the functional concept for W-BAD is simple. Characteristic of many organisations, the platform is based on a pyramid-type structure, which operates as follows.

Direction and focus are overseen by the general organiser. The delegating of tasks is filtered down and coordinated through admin. Local events are carried out by both National Representatives in respective participating countries and US State Representatives in respective participating US States. Participants contribute through activism efforts, supporting their local representatives. Individuals participate in their own way and share information accordingly.

This aligns with the W-BAD ethos: ‘By the People for the People’ where the purpose is to empower the people and enable their voices to carry over into the public domain with a view towards creating positive change – that is the concept of W-BAD.

Collecting plans in the lead up to July 11 events from each of the W-BAD Representatives (National Reps / US State Reps) and forwarding to admin, helping collect photos, video footage etc. afterwards and forwarding to admin. For the US State Coordinator, additionally following up on applications for W-BAD State Resolutions.

Organising small events, distributing pamphlets etc. (see participation page), informing Global Coordinator / US State Coordinator of plans, submitting photos, video footage and other related materials to W-BAD admin for sharing on social media etc (see gallery).

Participating in any way you can, supporting your local W-BAD Representatives, sharing information, photos, footage etc. of your July 11 activities with W-BAD admin.
